Crown Candy Kitchen

This weekend I went on several adventures. One of them being, revisiting the infamous Crown Candy Kitchen in St. Louis. It has been open since 1913, and they make their own chocolate and candies. Though in an area north of downtown, to which some people may consider as more dangerous, Crown Candy Kitchen is a wonderful neighborhood diner. Because it is so well known, there is usually a line out the door to be seated for a meal, shake, malt, or sundae.

If you check on yelp or other websites, you will see a TON of people talk about the BLT sandwich here. And well, it's because it's MONSTROUS. The whole sandwich is pretty much bacon! It is definitely a sandwich that can and will be shared. Especially because you want to save room for a shake, malt, or sundae. Pictured above is the strawberry malt, it was DELICIOUS.
*They do not serve french fries.

After eating an enormous meal, on your way out you can check out their candy bar, all handmade chocolates and candies. For St. Louis, this is definitely one of the spots you'll have to visit to indulge.
